Check-in at Cooper Motel felt cute. The innkeepers were gracious despite our very late arrival, and they allowed us to stay past checkout for some much-needed rest. The room was clean and had a tv, a nice touch. Unfortunately, the musty smell in the room was noticeable at first, but cranking up the AC helped a lot. The room felt cramped, and the shower drainage was slow, frustrating. Although updates were visible, the comfort level could use some work, especially with the heating unit allowing cold air in all night. The stay served its purpose on a budget, but a few tweaks would enhance the experience further.

The hotel feels a bit dated, room sizes are small, and I experienced a slow shower drain. The air conditioning/heating unit needs some caulking. I could feel cold air seeping in all night. It had a classic musty motel smell that needed the AC to solve, but the overall comfort still left something to be desired.

A short drive from the motel, a lovely park offers space for kids to play, so consider bringing outdoor toys.

Stayed at cooper motel for one night, and the beds were super comfortable. The staff was really friendly, too. It was nice not to see price hikes before the eclipse. The room had a large refrigerator which was handy. The shower had great hot water and pressure, just what we needed!

The innkeepers welcomed us warmly even though we arrived after hours, showing really good kindness. We enjoyed the clean and spacious Standard Full Room with Two Double Beds with a comfortable sleeping environment. A highlight was the refreshing air conditioning that helped eliminate any lingering musty odors from the room. The communal space was cozy and perfect for unwinding after a long day.

They offer a great variety of breakfast options here. It's in a convenient location, just a short stroll away from this place and also a cemetery nearby. 🍳
